Most lures are flashes in the pan - popular for one year and then they fade - the NorthBar Tackle Bottledarter has become a fixture in surf bags all along the striper coast and beyond. Great in almost any conditions from calm to rough, this lure slowly wobbles and returns to the surface if you stop retrieving it. Otherwise, it digs nicely into the surf. Some have even experimented with weighting it for even more casting distance, something the lure wasn't lacking in the first place.

Very pleased with this lure, digs into heavy current and tracks well.
I enjoy using bottle darters for striped bass and bluefish. These bottle darters are very durable and take serious abuse for the way I fish. The hardware out of the package is good and I haven't had the experience of bending the hooks.
Extremely effective plug. Comes with decent hardware and is built like a tank.
Great lure. First lure out of my bag at false dawn. Don't leave home without it!!
